Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data we handle when you use our WhatsApp marketing and commerce platform, why we handle it and the choices you and your customers have.
Two kinds of data
Account data is information about you and your business: your name, work email, brand details, billing information and how you use the platform. We are responsible for this data.
Customer data is information about your customers that you bring to or collect through the platform: phone numbers, names, opt-in records, chat messages, orders and tags. You own this data and decide how it is used. We process it only on your instructions, to provide the service.
What we collect
- Details you give us at sign-up or through the contact form, such as name, work email, brand, industry and store platform.
- Contacts you import or collect, along with the source and time of each opt-in or opt-out.
- Messages sent and received through your connected WhatsApp number, including delivery and read status.
- Catalogue, cart and order events from connected stores such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
- Technical data such as browser type, device, IP address and pages visited, used to keep the platform secure and working.
How we use it
- To run your broadcasts, chatbots, catalogues, nudges, inbox and reports.
- To train your AI chatbot on the content you approve. Your content is used only for your own assistant.
- To keep your number healthy, for example by honouring opt-outs and monitoring message quality.
- To bill you, support you and tell you about changes to the service.
- To detect and prevent spam, fraud and misuse of the platform.
What we never do
- We never sell customer data, and never share one brand's contacts or chats with another brand.
- We never use your customer data to train models for other customers.
- We never message your contacts on our own behalf.
Sharing with service providers
We share data only with providers who help us run the service, such as the WhatsApp Business Platform and its approved providers, cloud hosting, email delivery, payment gateways you connect and AI model providers used to generate chatbot replies. Each is bound by contract to protect the data and use it only for the service.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside the platform is limited by role, actions are logged and production systems are reviewed regularly. Messages between WhatsApp and your customers are protected by WhatsApp's own encryption.
Retention and deletion
Customer data is kept while your account is active. You can delete contacts or conversations at any time, and export your data before closing your account. After an account is closed, customer data is deleted within 90 days, except where the law requires us to keep certain records such as invoices.
Your customers' choices
Your customers can stop marketing messages at any time by replying STOP or using the stop button included in messages. To access or delete their data, they can contact your business, and we will help you respond.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your account data, and withdraw consent for optional communication. Requests can be sent through our Contact us page.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as a session cookie for form security checks. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will tell account owners by email before the changes take effect.
